One of our clients is trying to fill several positions on one of their port projects in South East Asia, they are currently looking for the following:

 

The Environmental/Social Expert will be responsible for the environmental aspects of the project and will up-date environmental mitigation plans to avoid or minimize any adverse effects.  His tasks will cover, but not be limited to, the following:

– To review the environmental mitigation plan including social management submitted by the Contractor

– To chair the Environmental Monthly Meeting with the Contractor

– To monitor the contractor’s Environmental/Social Management Process

– To pick up the poor or weak points of his Environmental Control Process

– To propose countermeasure in order to avoid adverse conditions to mitigate environmental and social issue

– To recommend additional monitoring, if required

– To issue the warning letter to improve his Environmental Control Process

– To prepare and finalize the Monthly Environmental Control Report

– To assist MPMU2 in supervising the program for prevention of HIV/AIDS by People’s Committee of Hai Phong City
